Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America, is the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, a physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. As a teenager, she was a master at piano. When she was thirteen, she took home a prize at the Chicago Music Festival. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she completed her high school education in Fort Collins High School in 1960.
